Manual Plastic-Steel Strapping Machine Operation Procedure

A manual baler consists of a tensioner and a jaw clamp. It is a packaging machine that requires PET plastic-steel straps and steel buckles. Proper operation and habits can extend the life of the waste paper baler, effectively reduce equipment failures, and improve packaging and tying efficiency.

1. First, fold the plastic-steel strap. After holding it with both hands, keep the two folded straps parallel. Then, straighten the strap and push it alternately with your left and right hands to pass it over the bottom of the goods. Important: Keep the strap firm, otherwise it will easily deflect.
2. With your left hand, relax the tensioner crankshaft to release the strap cutter. With your right hand, hold the plastic-steel strap firmly. Extend your ring finger to stabilize the strap and pull it through the strap cutter from front to back, mimicking a fish-cutting motion. Focus on right-hand operation and proper technique for optimal efficiency.
3. Use your right hand to simulate step two. Pull the plastic belt onto the winch. With your left hand, rock the crankshaft connecting rod left and right to adjust the cross-shaped gap on the winch to be parallel with the plastic belt, making it easier to thread the belt with your right hand.
4. With your right hand, tighten the plastic belt and push it in as far as possible. With your right hand, press the back of the plastic belt into the gap in the tensioner. With your left hand, rock the crankshaft connecting rod to maintain parallel tension on both sides.
5. Insert the buckle diagonally through the double straps, making sure to insert the buckle from the side and tighten it. If the left and right straps do not completely overlap, use the buckle to adjust them.
6. Open the jaws and tilt the jaws to slide the jaws onto the buckle, keeping the buckle centered between the jaws.
7. After releasing half the jaws' force, suspend the jaws to your side for easier tightening. Be careful not to pull the cable over until the clamp is halfway connected, otherwise the buckle will break. After tightening the buckle, tilt the clamp to remove it.

8. After removing the clamp, hold the plastic strap with your right hand and slowly pull the support rod with your left hand, pulling it in two steps if possible. Pulling too quickly with all your strength may cause the plastic strap to crack.
