When the automatic strapping machine malfunctions, operators often feel distressed and struggle to identify the cause, let alone find a solution. This not only affects their work enthusiasm but also delays progress. This article briefly introduces common failures and solutions for the strapping machine, hoping to provide some assistance.
1. No automatic belt feeding:
1. Check whether the potentiometer sent to the length control strapping machine is at zero. If it is, the belt will not come out naturally, and it needs to be adjusted clockwise.
2. Check whether the belt threading method is correct. If it is incorrect, please adjust it in time. Please check the manual.
3. Check whether the upper and lower extensions are clean. If we use it for a long time without cleaning it, resulting in stolen goods, it will affect the smoothness of the belt feeding. It is recommended to clean it in time after use.
4. Check whether the gap between the belt feeding rollers is correct. It needs to be adjusted carefully. It is 0.05-1mm more than the thickness of the belt.
5. Check whether the PP belt we selected before is too thick or too thin compared with the current one. Just adjust the gap between the belt feeding rollers.
2. The strapping machine does not retract the belt
1. If the strapping machine does not retract, it may also be caused by foreign objects in the upper and lower machines. Check it.
2. Check whether the gap of our retracting belt is too large. The gap of the retracting roller is 0.05-1mm more than the thickness of the belt as mentioned above.
3. Check our machine to see if the roller is worn and whether the crossbar 635 bearing is broken.
3. The strapping machine does not cut the belt automatically
1. Check whether the machine is damaged, the middle knife bearing is broken or the middle knife is worn, and the middle knife pipe pin is broken. Replace the corresponding parts in time.
2. Check whether our strapping machine is adjusted too tight. If so, just loosen it.
3. Check whether the conveyor belt is too loose.
4. Check whether there is oil on the sliding plate or the tightening conveyor belt, and clean it in time.
4. Continuous packaging action
1. LS1 failure may be caused by LS1 contact not being released, or there may be stolen goods between the contact and the shrapnel.
2. LS4 failure, delay, micro switch contact not being released.
3. The clutch clearance may be too small, just add some gaskets.
4. Check LS3, 5 and TD. If there is any fault, replace them.
